What Are Flows
A Flow is a predefined set of campaign destination paths. Flows can make your marketing campaigns more efficient because of these three things:
- Flows make it possible to specify a certain redirect for each individual path;
- While setting up the destination in a campaign you can use the flow as a fixed set of destination paths;
- You can use the flow as a template where the set of destinations paths can be further edited.
New Flow (1) button creates a new flow and opens Flow editor.
Flow view switcher (2) switches between List of your flows and Flow analytics page.
Flow filter (3) section contains a set of controls which could help you to find a flow.
All filter settings will be remembered till the time you change it.
Overall report (4) section shows metrics and numbers of flows. Here you can see avatars of users which have access to the flow and also you can mark a flow as the favorite (press Star button).
Entries number (5) selector will show number of rows of the flows.
Defining a Flow
In Zeustrak go to Flows tab in the main left menu and press New Flow button.
- Define the Name for your Flow.
- Select Countries
To indicate on which this flow will be applied or leave it blank to accept any country.
- Apply Flow Tags
Use as a categorization. Tags are predefined and can be found back under Settings > Tags.
- Use Note field to store any useful information about the flow.
- Manage users access
With Available to users control. There are two sets of permissions - Can view and Can edit.
- Specify the Account manager for the flow, you can check this team member performance in this Reports view of the flow.
We're done with general settings of the flow, let's switch to the Default paths tab.
Setting the Default Paths
In this section, you define what landers your visitors see and to what offers they move from your landers by default without applying any specific rules. You can add multiple default paths to your flow. Traffic will be separated between all of them according to their Weight value (the more weight - the more traffic).

- Set weight of the path
When you have 2+ paths you can spread the amount of traffic between them.
- Set status
Simply turns the path on/off.
- Set a redirect method
This only applies to the redirect from the lander to the offer. Use 302 for fastest redirects and Double meta-refresh when you don’t want to pass your referrer to the affiliate network.
- Direct link checkbox
Switch on the Direct link checkbox, when you want to send traffic directly to the offer and not use a lander.

You can only choose from landers for countries, selected on the Settings tab, or Global (without a specific country setting). You can add an unlimited amount of landers to one path. Traffic is distributed among them according to each landers weight value.
- Use the Path offers selection to add landers
Traffic is distributed among them according to each offers weight. If you use landers with other the Offers count, you can add exactly the same number of offers. A small number (1, 2, etc.) will be displayed, showing what number you should use for this offer in your tracking URL.
Setting the Rules
You may use Rules section to add more Paths, that will receive traffic only when their conditions are true.
- Press Add rule button to add a rule.
- Name your rule
- Set Status
- Select destination
To determine where you want to send visitors, who fit under this rule condition.
- Add Condition
You can add any number of conditions to a rule. A Rule is triggered when all conditions are true. There are several types of conditions available.
Boolean condition - has only two options available; 'TRUE' or 'FALSE', for example, if mobile traffic is ON or OFF.
Predefined value condition - you may select a value or multiple from a predefined list. For example, you might want to trigger a rule when a visitor visits your campaign from one of the listed devices.
Custom value condition - you may type any trigger values yourself. You may also define a list of available options, separated by a comma. The rule will be triggered when the variable is equal to one of the values. For example, you may create an ISP condition and type a list of IPSs, separated by a comma.
Available conditions are:

|Mobile traffic||Boolean value, use is-not switch to include or exclude mobile traffic from a rule|
|OS||Choose OS from a list|
|Preview traffic||Boolean value, use is-not switch to include or exclude Facebook Preview traffic from a rule|
|Repeat visit||Boolean value, use to include or exclude repeat (non-unique) visits of a campaign|
|URL Variable||Use this condition to check for any URL variable value. For example, you can add a creative ID to your campaign link and with a rule send some traffic to a special destination. You campaign link could look like “http://tracker.com/visit/campaign?creative=cash01”, so you add an URL Variable condition in a rule and set Variable to “creative” and Value to “cash01”|
Once you've set up a flow and have some traffic going through landers that belong to this flow it is worth to check the Flow analytics report. This report lets you to analyze performance of your flows and determine adjustments.
This report is divided into three sections: Today, Yesterday and Average. Each section has columns with marketing metrics that will help you to understand your performance.
